Lady of the Lake

Fragment of a poem about the capsize of the Lady of the Lake on Loch Lomond in 1828

"One Miss Bunting, mild, discreet,
Who did belong to the High Street;
A widow-woman was there also,
Who did belong to the Rottenrow;
A doctor and his wife beside,
Who in Hutcheson-town did abide,
Enjoyed but two months of a married state,
For in Loch Lomond they met their fate."
