The following is extracted from an advertisement published  in the Brighton Gazette on Thursday 02 December 1841

LONDON AND BRIGHTON RAILWAY. Blue Coach and Railway Office, Castle Square, Brighton. STEVENS’ RAILWAY CONVEYANCES.
THE Public are informed, that OMNIBUSES leave Kemp Town and Brunswick Terrace Half hour, calling at all the principal Hotels, and leave The Blue Office Twenty Minutes before the departure of each Train. Passengers desirous of riding in the Omnibus, can be called for at their residence, leaving word the above Office. The Royal Day Mail Train leaves the Blue Office at Twenty-five Minutes past 10
Omnibuses leave the Blue Office, for all the London Trains, returning from the Station to all parts of the Town, on their arrival —Kemp Town, Brunswick Terrace. &c. Post Horses, Post Chariots, and One-Horse Carriages always in attendance. Extra Omnibuses can be had to take Families to or from the Station - Gentlemen's Baggage conveyed to and from the Station, all parts of Brighton, or forwarded to any parts of the country.
